“As educators we know that students will excel when applying themselves to learning areas they’re genuinely passionate about. By offering the widest range of subjects and co-curricular opportunities of
any girls’ school in Victoria, we ensure every student can carve her own path, supported by exceptional staff and a vibrant community,” Principal Julia Shea says.
“Whether they aspire to be scientists, writers, entrepreneurs, chefs, athletes or artists, our students are equipped with the skills, resilience, and ambition to achieve their goals and embrace a future full of opportunities.
“I’m so proud of how our incredible staff nurture our student’s individual talents so they can confidently set their goals and define what their own personal success looks like.
“The breadth of achievements across so many subjects this year reflects the diverse talents and determination of our students, and I am thrilled to celebrate these outstanding VCE results with the MLC community and I couldn’t be prouder of the exceptional resilience and determination demonstrated by every student throughout the year.”
Embarking on the next chapter
Speaking on the opportunities post-Year 12, Head of Careers, Chris Walkey says that “with these outstanding VCE results, our Year 12 cohort is now ready to embark on their next chapter, exploring the many pathways available to them”.
“With Australians changing careers an average of 12 times in their lifetimes, the choices made after Year 12 are just the first steps in a lifelong career journey.
“Our biggest hope is that students remember that ATARs are just one of the many ways for them to get their ‘foot in the door’.”
