A school bus driver will face court next week after being charged with sexually touching two children with disabilities while driving them to their school in western Sydney.

The 51-year-old man was arrested by NSW State Crime Command child abuse squad detectives on Monday, 1 September and was subsequently charged with six counts of intentionally sexually touching a child at Erskine Park between 30 January 30 and 6 June this year.

The school bus driver’s two alleged victims were aged 13 and 14 at the time of the alleged offences.

The Greystanes man was granted conditional bail when he faced Blacktown Local Court last week and must report to Merrylands police station between 8am and 8pm on Tuesdays and Saturdays. The investigations are ongoing and he is prohibited from going within 100 metres of the school that the children attend. The accused is due to appear in Blacktown Local Court on 19 September.
